MINI UNITED 22-24 May 2009
We’re celebrating MINI’s 50th Birthday by supporting the MINI UNITED Festival from 22-24 May 2009 at Silverstone.
Come and join the fun… you don’t even have to be a MINI driver, everyone is welcome! It’s the largest fan event yet organised for MINI. In addition to stunt shows, go-karting, lounge areas and DJs, you’ll also be able to experience a huge exhibition which will take MINI fans through the whole history of MINI/Mini. If that isn’t enough, Paul Weller, former lead singer of The Jam and The Style Council, will be headlining.
The MINI CHALLENGE will also be part of the festival again, moving into its third and fourth heat in front of an international audience. Also the Mini Seven Racing Club will increase the excitement on the course by organizing a race with 50 classic Mini race cars. In addition, it’ll be possible to drive a few laps on the racetrack, either alone or with a MINI CHALLENGE driver.
There’ll be lots of bars, kiosks and restaurants providing a plentiful supply of food and drink. And for those looking for children’s entertainments, the Kids’ Area will once again provide plenty of activities, from bobby-car racing and climbing to body-painting.
All this, for only £35 each - great value for a jam-packed whole weekend of activities, music and fun plus under 14s go free.
